Day 52 On Juice Feasting

Hello All~
Over the past two days several friends of mine have been giving me garden veggies:) ~Can't beat goodies given to me out of the kindness of my friends! What a treat!!

I don't typically juice tomatoes (so far just 3-5 times on my feast), but today I juiced 2 small cucumbers, 2 small tomatoes, 2 stalks of celery, 1 huge red bell pepper, 1 small yellow bell pepper, a few stems of cilantro and a clove of garlic. It was soooo yummy!!

Then my second (and third juice) was 2 grapefruit, 2 oranges, 1 lemon and about 2 cups of pineapple. Yummy Too!! We helped a friend move so this was a nice lunch and dinner for myself to keep me going.

Oh!! Yesterday, Kendra and I (and some other of our friends) went to the local-ish Amish store. There we bought 3 bushels of peaches (they look beautiful!) and 1 bushel of apples (Ginger Gold- they taste similar to Golden Delicious, except a little sweeter). Kendra and I split the apples, and we each got 1 bushel of peaches. The price wasn't bad. The peaches were $23 a bushel and the apples were $17. I think we should have bought another bushel of apples:)

This afternoon my husbands mom brought us a small bucket of tomatoes from her garden and 1 watermelon. I'm going to look up how to can the tomatoes without adding "junk" to them. My children really like whole wheat pasta with sauce on it so this will help us:) Although personally, I can't wait to juice some of the watermelon! My husband thinks it's overripe. I'll let him know:)
